Alia Bhatt And Varun Dhawan Meet With An Accident

On Monday morning, the lead actors of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan met with an accident. The actors, who were in Ahmedabad for the promotions of their upcoming film, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’ had a close shave when the car they were travelling in met with an accident. Apparently, Varun and Alia were on their way from the airport to the hotel, when a car belonging to Assistant Commissioner of Police (G Division, Ahmedabad), JN Parmar, rammed into their luxury sedan. Fortunately, no one was injured.

According to a source, “Both the stars were seated at the back. It was around 11am and the car had stopped at a traffic signal. The driver of a car just behind them lost control and rammed into their sedan. The impact shattered the rear windscreen completely. A few shards even landed on the backseat. Varun and Alia quickly jumped out, visibly shaken but unhurt.”

The two were almost mobbed by the starstruck pedestrians before they were whisked away in another car. However, according to a source from the police, Alia was not inside the car when it met with the accident. “She was supposed to be in it but Varun and she took another vehicle.”

ACP J N Parmar, who retired from service on Monday, stated: “Yes, my car met with an accident on Monday morning. Fortunately, I was not in the car. Since the driver told me that the matter had been settled, I didn’t ask him for details.”
