The Coati is an average-sized animal only discovered on the American continent. These are establishing largely distributed across Central, North and South in a various unlike habitats. These are mainly found in dark and soggy tropical forests as the coati will spend a vast deal of its time in the protection of the trees. However, there are also coati inhabitants living grasslands, peaks and even deserts around the continent. There are four dissimilar species of them, two of which the Mountain Coati and the Ring-tailed Coati are originate in South America, and the other two species the Cozumel Island Coati and the White-nosed Coati both are found in Mexico.
These are found in the rainforests of South America where it survives together on the land and in the trees.
The Mountain Coati is found living regions of the Andes Mountain series in western South America. The Mountain Coati is also the least species of them and for a moments called the Dwarf Coati.
