Manish Paul quit Mad in India
Star Plus newly launched show Mad In India , which was pitted against Colors Show Comedy nights with Kapil is owing to its poor responses from audience has failed to set a mark. The show was launched on February 16, and didn’t receive any roaring response as was expected. Here is a bad news for the show Mad In India and Manish Paul’s fans. Stand up Comedian, Anchor and Actor Manish Paul has made an exit from Sunil Grover’s show Mad In India. This is not all.. The channel has also made plans to replace Mad in India with Yo Yo Honey Singh’s musical, tentatively titled The Honey Singh Show. According to the contract Manish Paul was suppose to host 26 episodes of the show, however in the middle he planned to discontinue the show as he got many film offers.
The Mickey Virus Actor was not happy with the way the show had shaped up and decided to quit the show. After Sunil Grover walked out from the show Comedy Nights with Kapil where he played the role of Gutthi, came up with his own show Mad In India and played the role of Chutki. However he could not manage to create the laugh riot. Rumours were taking rounds and it was to be said that there was an Ego clash between Sunil and Manish, that came out to be the reason Manish Paul quit the show.
Celebrities such as Cricketer Harbhajan Singh; Singers Mika, Sonu Nigam and Udit Narayan; Actors Govinda, Karishma Kapoor; and yoga guru Baba Ramdev, among others, have made an appearance on Mad In India . The cast of the film Gangs Of Ghost – Sharman Joshi and Mahie Gill- appeared on the show too, but failed to create any funny moments. Similarly, Shilpa Shetty and Harman Baweja, who appeared on the show to promote the film Dhiskiyaon , again failed to create any buzz for that episode.
