Movie Review: ‘Yaariyan’ 2 stars

Yaariyan is a tailor made recipe for the teens, or those who have stacks of Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl DVDs lined up on their shelf. The music is already a rage with ABCD and Sunny Sunny topping the charts. Divya Khosla did a decent job of using these tracks to their maximum benefit. The Background music and opening credits, make their presence felt throughout. The cinematography adds some visual dazzle, especially in the second half during the romantic numbers. Himansh Kohli who plays the lead has a charming personality in the movie. Among the girls Evelyn Sharma looks the most attractive and has done justice to her personality and role in the movie.The film made on a Rs 11 crore budget takes the audience to locations like Sikkim and Australia, but fails to generate any interest as it has a bizarre story line and some awful performances. This is the negative drawback of the film.
