Sachin will be ‘sick’ of me: Michael Hussey
Australian star player Michael Hussey is all set to play in the latest season of Indian Premier League (IPL). Having donned the yellow jersey for previous 6 years in IPL, Michael Hussey is all set to make the change to blue this time. The 38 year old star player Hussey was bought by Mumbai Indians in this year’s auctions. Talking about his latest squad and the challenges ahead for him this time in an exclusive interview with IPL’s official site, Hussey said that he is looking forward to spending time with retired master blaster Sachin Tendulkar in the Mumbai Indians dressing room. Hussey said in the interview, “I am really looking forward to spending time with him [Sachin] and talking about life and cricket. He will probably be sick of me by the end of the IPL.”
Though Tendulkar retired last year from all formats of cricket, he was named the idol player of Mumbai Indians, and is anticipated to provide moral support to the Mumbai team throughout the competition.
“It will be different but I am excited by the challenge of joining a team that I have admired and respected over the six years. I have had some great battles with Mumbai Indians over the years and look forward to many great battles with CSK over the next few years.”
“I am excited about joining the champion team and the chance to play home games at Wankhede stadium, which probably has the best atmosphere I have ever experienced,” he said.
