Serial by Amitabh Bachchan

The legend Amitabh Bachchan is now wanting to connect with audience at a personal level he says, through small screen, why would The Big B want to venture into serials in spite of being the king of Bollywood! He is in process of co- producing  and  acting in a serial to be aired on Sony tv. The show is going to be directed by Anurag Kashyap. While Big B is said to be omnipresent , because  he is present in commercials, movies, functions, etc. He is now stepping into the small screen by being slated as the lead in  a “fictitious serial”. Heroines make comebacks through reality shows, actors promote their movies by appearing in serials, but must say Big B is making a whole new serial for himself. Considering Amitabh Bachchan being the lead, imagine who would be the leading lady opposite him? that’s a question we don’t have an answer to yet because Anurag Kashyap as well as Amitabh Bachchan are tight lipped about the project.   They say it is a very “off-beat” project, well if it’s not saas-bahu saaga or comedy, what is it? Whatever it is we hope the off-beat show doesn’t go off-air because of TRP issues !
