SRK And Salman Khan Hug Each Other Again

The two leading Khans of Bollywood, Shah Rukh and Salman hugged each other with warmth as they came face to face at an iftaar party here in the city on Sunday.

The holy month of Ramzan once again saw friends turned foes Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan hug each other at MLA Baba Siddique’s annual Iftaar party, hosted at Mumbai’s Taj Lands End Hotel. Shah Rukh was seated next to Salman’s father, Salim Khan. Salman’s brother Arbaaz was also present at the event. Also present at the event was The Honorable Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Prithviraj Chavan, who posed with the two superstars. It was almost like a deja vu moment as it was just last year at Baba Siddique’s annual party that was the setting for the first SRK-Salman hug. Since then there was much speculation in the industry circles about whether Shah Rukh and Salman would call a truce, but this was not to be as nothing of the sort happened. The actors had been at war since falling out at actress Katrina Kaif’s birthday party in 2008. Salman, dressed in a blue shirt, and SRK, wearing black and stubble, embraced each other with some encouragement from their host. There was a huge list of Bollywood attendees, including Salman’s father Salim Khan, and his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail. Also present were actors Suniel Shetty, Arjun Kapoor and Aditya Pancholi, and also directors Sajid Nadiadwala and Madhur Bhandarkar.

The actors were seen chatting and having a great time. They even posed happily for the shutterbugs. Salman later told the media present that he respects Shah Rukh Khan and that he has always liked him. Now, what we wonder is if all this love is just a formality like the last time around or if there’s actually something cooking? We’ll just have to wait and watch for this one.
