The undisputed king of comedy, Kapil Sharma who is currently in Delhi for a live performance in collaboration with Red FM took some time out to catch up with his friends in the city. The actor comedian decided to go for a night drive with friends and enjoy the delicious street cuisine that the capital city has to offer. The humble actor seemed to enjoy himself and had a blast with his fans. The ever increasing popularity of Kapil Sharma was in full display as the eager fans in Delhi thronged to get a glimpse of their favourite comedian. So much so that the Delhi police had to be deployed to control the situation. Kapil, who started his career in theater has risen to be the most sought after stand up comedian in the country with the super hit weekend comedy show, ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. He was also selected among top 100 celebrities in 2013 Forbes India magazine and was ranked 96th in that list. This was all due to his immense hard work and perseverance. Regarding his success in the industry, the actor said, “People noticed me when I came in Laughter Challenge seven years ago, but nobody is aware of the work that I did in theater. People usually feel that I am an overnight star, but this is not true. Whatever I am today is because of my hard work and struggle. I did serious theater, I also did comedy plays without taking any money and those days have made me a better person.”
